My favourite posts for this week are listed below. I think you will benefit greatly from reading all of them. A wide variety of topics are covered this week, dig in!

I was so glad to see someone else share my beliefs about Global Warming. Steven Aitchison in his post ‘Global Warming - A Politician’s Dream’ has done just that. The science on this matter is poor and other factors such as Solar Magnetic Cycles don’t seem to be considered. Remember, correlation is not the same as causation.
Nneka at ‘The Balanced Life Center’ has a great little post on Petitioning Prayer and what it is.
Over at the Personal Development Ideas blog, Gleb has started taking some guest blogging spots. This article is by Alex Shalman and is called ‘How To Find Motivation’. Alex explains what motivates him and gives us some tips too.
I liked this post by Donald Latumahina. It’s 66 quotes on Time Management and I love how one sentence has the power to change your perceptions in an instant.
Craig Harper has a great article this week about Denial. I really like Craig’s straight-talking style and sense of 100% personal responsibility.
My favourite post this week, however, is by Jimmy Moore at Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb. He has an article about the recently published new study by the Journal of the American Medical Association which states that the Atkin’s Nutritonal Approach is the best diet for losing weight and also the healthiest. Yes people on this diet had their cholesterol levels drop more than others on 3 other popular diets whilst losing fat from their bodies. It seems to me that people think this is a meat and egg diet which couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s about meat, vegetables (in copious amounts), nuts, eggs, fruit, seafood and cheese as far as I know. This independent study flies in the face of what a lot of us have been told about diet and is just one more piece of evidence that backs up my theory of nutrition, which can simply be summed up by saying, “We should eat what we are genetically built to eat”. Great work Jimmy!

Hi Mark, thanks for the link love! Love the abs by the way. Are you helping people to get them?
March 12th, 2007 06:29
Hi Nneka. Yes, a few people have contacted me for advice and I always respond. I hope to expand this soon, possibly make an ebook with the proper diet and exercises. Thanks and keep up the good work!

My favourite for this week is the guest post by Alex.
And to Nneka, I have a friend which is already a great fan of Mark and he is strictly following the steps you showed him Mark. Hope he shapes up to be like you!

Hey Mark,
Cheers for the links. Just thought I’d throw in a link for those who are interested in nutrition. Just as you said about eating what we are genetically designed to eat, http://www.thepaleodiet.com is the way of the future (ironically, it’s the way of our anchestors).
Anyone seriously about living healthily should paleo up their diet as much as possible.

Hey Colm, it’s great you know about this diet! Paleo is great, yes this sort of eating is the way of the future. I just wish more people knew about it instead of trying to lose fat by cutting all the fat from their diet, it seems logical but actually it’s a big mistake.
