It has to be an availablity/ FDA/ money issue. In the mean time I drink diet RC, it is sweetened with splenda and is better than splenda coke. Splenda is still not good for you but better than aspertame. I have a mini review up about it, soon as I get time this weekend I want to get the recipe for low fat meringue cookies I made with it and a full review. It doesn't spike your blood sugar, has 3 grams of fiber PER teaspoon, and only 3 caloreis per tsp. It's worth checking out.
